A tension winch, used for difficult operations in harsh marine environments, sits on a K loader May 5, 2021, at Travis Air Force Base, California. Travis AFB’s 60th Aerial Port Squadron moved over half a million pounds of cargo in support of the recovery of a U.S. Navy MH-60S helicopter off the coast of Okinawa, Japan, with the tension winch being the heaviest piece of equipment moved at 50,000 pounds.
