Sheep Mitigation at Travis AFB
Sheep make their way through the entrance of a fence line at Travis Air Force Base, California, May 6, 2022. A flock of approximately 1,000 sheep were released to clear overgrown weeds eliminating the need for herbicides and machinery. This grazing method saves time and money, reduces fire hazards and protects the environment. (U.S. Air Force photo by Heide Couch)
