Sheep Mitigation at Travis AFB

Sheep graze in a field at Travis Air Force Base, California, May 6, 2022. The flock of approximately 1,000 sheep were released to clear overgrown weeds eliminating the need for herbicides and machinery. This grazing method saves time and money, reduces fire hazards and protects the environment. (U.S. Air Force photo by Heide Couch)
