Does Travis AFB offer tours?
Travis Air Force Base is an exciting part of your community and an excellent resource and educational tool for groups interested in aviation or a career in the United States Air Force.
Priority scheduling will be given to ROTC and Junior ROTC students and other groups serving high-school-age and college-age students, mission permitting. Civic and business organizations will be scheduled on a case by case basis. Elementary or middle-school-age groups and senior citizen groups are encouraged to visit the Travis Heritage Center and can contact them directly by calling (707) 424-5883.
When an organization requests to attend one of our base tours, the initial request must be made by telephone at (707) 424-2011 or by emailing 60amwpa@us.af.mil.
The formal request should be received at least 60 days prior to the date of the event.
For more information or to request a base tour for your group or organization, please contact the Travis Public Affairs Office at (707) 424-2011.
