Base Tours

Does Travis AFB offer tours?

Travis Air Force Base is an exciting part of your community and an excellent resource and educational tool for groups interested in aviation or a career in the United States Air Force.

In general, Travis Public Affairs schedules base tours twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Please contact the Public Affairs office for specific dates.

Priority scheduling will be given to ROTC and Junior ROTC students and other groups serving high-school-age and college-age students. Civic and business organizations will be scheduled on a case by case basis. Elementary or middle-school-age groups and senior citizen groups are encouraged to visit the Travis Heritage Center and can contact them directly by calling (707) 424-5883.

When an organization requests to attend one of our base tours, the initial request must be made by telephone at (707) 424-2011 or by emailing 60amwpa@us.af.mil.

The formal request should be received at least 60 days prior to the date of the event.

For more information or to request a base tour for your group or organization, please contact the Travis Public Affairs Office at (707) 424-2011.
