USAF Band of the Golden West to perform with "Trout Fishing in America"

The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West will present a free family-oriented concert along with the guest artist group Trout Fishing in America at the base theater April 21 at 7:00 p.m.

The concert will feature a variety of music performed by the band and their guest artists geared for all ages. The Mobility rock band from the Band of the Golden West will share the stage with Trout Fishing in America.

Mobility is an upbeat group of musicians performing rock, country, pop and blues favorites, new and old. As a subdivision of the USAF Band of the Golden West, Mobility travels the West Coast bringing civilians and military personnel entertainment and American pride through music. Mobility has performed at numerous distinguished military and civic functions.

Ezra Idlet and Keith Grimwood formed Trout Fishing in America more than 20 years ago. The band performs original songs that include a mix of reggae, Latin, jazz and classical music styles.

Trout Fishing in America has received more than 25 national awards including three Grammy nominations.
