The Golden West Wind Quintet

GOLDEN WEST WINDS

The Golden West Winds is the resident woodwind quintet of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West. This group of highly trained musicians has delighted numerous concert audiences throughout the western United States. The versatile Golden West Winds perform a varied assortment of chamber music, ranging from the works of Bach to the ragtime of Scott Joplin -- music that is ideal for all audiences. The distinctive atmosphere of these concerts bonds musicians and audience in an intimate musical experience.

In addition to their Air Force community relations concerts, the Golden West Winds offers informative lecture/performance clinics to all levels of aspiring musicians. The Golden West Winds is featured on the recordings “Bayside Bravura” and “Wood ‘n Brass.”
