60th Communications Squadron best in AMC
The 60th Communications Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, California, was named the best communications squadron in Air Mobility Command for 2019. In addition to cutting its teeth in communication syncing as part of a 2019 wildfire season response measure, the squadron also innovated business processes and rolled out the Air Force’s Enterprise Land Mobile Radio Network, which helped to save the Air Force $14.4 million.
