During the
month of July 2018, five Airmen received final review of nonjudicial punishment
under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice and four Airmen were involuntarily
separated. The following are tools used by commanders as a means of punishment,
rehabilitation and maintaining unit good order and discipline.
Nonjudicial punishment (Article 15s)
821st Contingency Response Support Squadron
A technical
sergeant received an Article 15 for one specification of wrongful use of
marijuana and one specification of wrongful use of MDMA, both a violation of Article 112a, UCMJ. Punishment consisted
of a reduction to the rank of staff sergeant, forfeitures of $1,655.00 pay per
month for two months and a reprimand.
60th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
An Airman
first class received an Article 15 for one specification of Driving while
Drunk, a violation of Article 111, UCMJ. Punishment consisted of reduction to
the grade of airman, suspended reduction to the grade of airman basic, suspended forfeiture of $918.00 pay per month
for two months, and a reprimand.
60th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
An airman
first class received an Article 15 for one specifications of wrongful use of cocaine,
a violation of Article 112a, UCMJ. Punishment consisted of a reduction to the
grade of airman, suspended forfeiture of $918.00 pay per month for 2 months and
a reprimand.
60th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
An airman
first class received an Article 15 for one specification of underage drinking,
a violation of Article 134, UCMJ. Punishment consisted of a reduction to the
grade of airman and a reprimand.
60th Logistical Readiness Squadron
An airman
first class received an Article 15 for one specification of false official statement,
a violation of Article 107, UCMJ. Punishment consisted of a reduction to the
rank of airman and a reprimand.
Administrative separation actions
60th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
An airman
from the 60th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was administratively discharged for
drug abuse
with a general service characterization.
60th Communications Squadron
An airman
from the 60th Communications Squadron was administratively discharged for
Minor Disciplinary
Infractions with a general service characterization.
60th Security Forces Squadron
An airman
first class from the 60th Security Forces Squadron was administratively
discharged for mental disorders with an honorable service characterization.
60th Logistics Readiness Squadron
A senior
airman from the 60th Logistics Readiness Squadron was administratively
discharged for
drug abuse
with a general service characterization.
