Delilah Wilson, 60th Force Support Squadron Education Center technician, currently has her collection of Halloween decorations on display at the Travis Air Force Base Education Center through Halloween and will have different décor as the Holidays come and go.

"We try to have fun over here," said Wilson. "My favorite holiday is Halloween."

The Education Center lobby area has been transformed by Wilson into a Halloween themed office that boasts a talking skull, roving witch's broom, a creature in a box and a vast variety of illuminating and mobile items.

On Fridays, Wilson said she dims the office lights and activates the many sensor and touch operated figures in the office for everyone's enjoyment.

"We get a great amount of compliments when people come in and they are just in awe," said Karen FiGueira, 60th FSS Education Center technician. "We literally have candy all year around and the talking skull is the best new addition to her collection."

Aside from the great spirit of Halloween, the staff is knowledgeable about the changes to Tuition Assistance programs and they encourage Airmen to visit and learn about the many opportunities the Education Center has to offer.

"We currently have three guidance counselors available and we are ready to assist whenever possible, preferably by appointment," Wilson said. "Whether it is to review an Airman's education record, enrolling into classes, TA or questions on GI benefits, we are here for them."

The Education Center is open Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 424-3444.
