Travis’ entry procedures change Published Sept. 12, 2007 By 020907 Sept. 12 -- TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - The hospital gate has changed force protection posture by reducing lane availability from three to two to enhance gate entry procedures here. Base employees using the hospital gate will notice some slight congestion during peak hours. There will be very little impact in Travis' ability to quickly and professionally ensure all authorized people have access to the base. The base's Anti-Terrorism office does not anticipate any restrictions of the number of access lanes currently in use to process people onto the installation.
