NEW PATIENT REFERRAL INFORMATION

Who we see:  We see all active duty and retired military members and their beneficiaries of all ages. However, we are a specialty clinic, therefore we can only see patients that have been referred by their Primary Care Manager or Clinic which they are empanelled. Due to our limited staff and the high number of new referrals requests that come to our clinic, appointments to our clinic may be booked beyond one month from the date of the referral request or may be referred to a dermatology clinic off-base.

Patient Instructions: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment.  We follow DGMC's No-Show policy and reserve the right to cancel a patient's appointment if they are greater than 15 minutes late from their appointment time.  All initial visits to the Dermatology Clinic will receive a full skin exam, therefore, changing into a gown is required.  Some skin conditions will require full skin examinations for future follow-up appointment (e.g. Psoriasis, Dermatitis, personal history of skin cancer, etc).

General Administrative Information:  All initial appointments are generally booked through DGMC's Referral Management Office. All follow-up appointments can be made at the Dermatology Clinic's front desk or patients may call (707) 423-5105. If you don't receive a call from the Referral Management Office to book your initial appointment, please call the Dermatology Clinic's front desk. Messages can be left at this line and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
