========================================================

It is with great pleasure we welcome you to the Phase 2 Physician Assistant training site at David Grant USAF Medical Center. DGMC's Interservice Physician Assistant Program at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. trains military physician assistants to focus on becoming some of the best clinicians and honoring our service members, veterans and family members with compassionate, world-class healthcare.

We do this by inspiring students with valuable training among our military forces. The IPAP prides itself on its commitment to the students training with both didactic and clinical experiences. We will enable and ensure your success as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force's Biomedical Science Corps by providing you training in your areas of responsibility as an officer and as a family medicine clinician. The depth of education and experience you will obtain is broad and the experiences will come from all the military forces the United States has to offer.

Please explore our site using the links above as it contains important information for those who are interested or who will be attending IPAP training here at DGMC.

If you have further questions or concerns after viewing this portal, you may contact us via e-mail.

The IPAP staff at DGMC is committed to your training and developing you to be a competent health care provider, Physician Assistant, and officer.

You will be challenged while here, both mentally and physically. We are training you to be a PA for life. The military program is much different from civilian PA schools and the expectations of a military PA are much higher.

We will prepare you for the challenges to come. You must prepare yourself, study, and be on your toes at all times. Any student who is not motivated to do their part or complete the mission will find it hard to succeed.
