The Brace Shop at David Grant USAF Medical Center provides competent orthotic services in a courteous, professional, and timely manner to Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs TRICARE eligible patients.
DGMC's Brace Shop is capable of designing, fabricating, fitting and modifying a full range of orthopedic appliances to include treatment of preoperative and postoperative patients, sports injuries, disabilities, chronic pain and minor maladies. By adapting a team approach to treatment, we insure the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction.
The Brace Shop does not accept “walk-ins” and is open all weekdays except for the fourth Thursday of each month for in-house training of our personnel. Patients must be referred by a medical provider to receive care. Follow-up appointments can be made at Brace Shop as needed.
Who we see:
We see all TRICARE beneficiaries. Active-duty members will have priority placement for appointments and will be seen at DGMC. All other beneficiary categories will be seen at DGMC on a "space available" basis.

Clinical Information we need from patients:
All patients require a referral to be seen at the Brace Shop. All appointments are scheduled by the Referral Management Center (2nd floor Patient Service Center)

Closed the fourth Thursday of each month for Medical Group training
