60TH LOGISTICS READINESS SQUADRON (LRS)

The 60th Logistics Readiness Squadron, located at Travis AFB, CA, maintains the largest Aircraft Parts Store, Individual Protective Equipment account and busiest Deployment Control Center and Fuels Management Flight in Air Mobility Command (AMC).  The squadron provides supplies, equipment, fuels, transportation, vehicle maintenance, and logistics planning support for assigned C-5, C-17, KC-10 and posturing to receive the KC-46 as well as other transient aircraft. The 60 LRS supports base operations for 2 Wings ensuring worldwide global mobility in support of six combatant commands.

Personnel 
387 personnel are assigned to the 60 LRS, including 301 military (7 AFSCs) & 86 civilians.

Resources
The 60 LRS operates in 11 facilities providing diverse logistics services with an appropriated fund budget of $526K annually and reimbursement fund revenues exceeding $400K annually.

Organization
The 60 LRS is a part of the 60th Air Mobility Wing, the largest in Air Mobility Command.  The squadron is 1 of 6 that resides in the 60th Mission Support Group.  The 60 LRS is comprised of 4 flights:

Fuels Management Flight (LGRF): the LGRF (POL) Flight consists of: Fuels Management Team, Knowledge Operations, Fuels Environmental and Safety, Fuels Laboratory, Fuels Support, Fuels Service Center, Fuels Distribution, Fuels Facilities and Fuels Bulk Storage.
Vehicle Management Flight (LGRV): the LGRV Flight consists of: Vehicle Management, Production Support, Fleet Maintenance and Analysis, Materiel Control, Refueling Maintenance, Fire Truck Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance, and Customer Service.
Deployment & Distribution Flight (LGRD): the LGRD Flight consists of: Support Agreements, Base Support Planning, War Reserve Materiel, Ground Transportation, Wing Deployments, and Receptions.
Materiel Management Flight (LGRM): the LGRM Flight consists of: Aircraft Parts Store, Inspection Section, Flight Service Center, Customer Support Section, Central Storage, Inventory, Individual Protective Equipment, and Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services.
