CEMIRT
Mission: CEMIRT provides Air Force-wide specialized maintenance, installation and repair support on electrical distribution systems, power production systems, aircraft arresting systems, and heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems during peacetime and emergency response operations.
Capabilities:
Electrical Distribution Systems – Conduct thermal infrared scans, protective relay testing, calibration and certification, circuit breaker and switchgear maintenance and repair.
Power Production Systems – Perform overhaul and repair of engine driven generators and diesel engine fire deluge pumps, field installations and contingency support.
Aircraft Arresting Systems (AAS) – Technical order-mandated overhaul of BAK-12, BAK-15, Fairlead Beams and MAAS, field repair and logistic support.
Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems – Evaluate, repair, test and balance, acceptance inspection and commissioning of new and existing facilities.
Emergency Response – CEMIRT employs mobility teams and Emergency Essential coded civilian personnel providing commanders with power production and electrical expertise for military operations during war or peacetime, humanitarian assistance and natural or man-made disaster recovery actions.
