Mission Statement: The 60th Medical Support Squadron at David Grant USAF Medical Center supports the 60th Medical Group and the Departments of Defense and Veteran Affairs’ Joint Ventures. It also executes the Medical Groups’ $195 million total annual expenses and governs a 2,300-manpower program and liaises with managed care support contractor in support of over 211,000 outpatient visits per year and 276,000 DoD/VA
eligible beneficiaries.
60 MDSS provides patient administration, referral management, information technology, medical readiness, logistics and supply chain management, equipment repair, contract management, human resource and financial management support to the Defense Health Agency Sacramento Market, DOD/VA Joint Venture and AF’s largest inpatient facility.
