David Grant USAF Medical Center - Drug Demand Reduction Program

The goals and objectives of DGMC's Drug Abuse Testing Program are to maintain the health and wellness of a fit and ready fighting force and a drug-free Air Force community, and to deter military members, including those members on initial entry on active duty after enlistment or appointment, from abusing illegal drugs and other illicit substances.

An effective drug testing program helps commanders maintain good order and discipline, safety and mission readiness by detecting and identify those individuals who use and abuse illegal drugs and other illicit substances.

Deterrence from drug use is a cornerstone of the DDRP through a vibrant community education and prevention campaign regarding the dangers and personal/mission consequences of illegal drug use.
