DGMC's Neurosurgery Clinic is comprised of dedicated and compassionate professionals who specialize in the comprehensive care of patients with spinal column and brain disorders. Our staff consists of the following:

DGMC's Neurosurgery team provides state-of-the-art care to our patients. Neurosurgery is the medical specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders that affect the entire nervous system including the spinal column, spinal cord, brain and peripheral nerves.
Physical therapy, chiropractic, pain management, radiology, and surgical services further enhance the quality of care by providing on-site diagnostic and therapeutic capability.
DGMC's Neurosurgery Clinic is a specialty care referral hub for the
Department of Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System providing inpatient/outpatient care to all TRICARE beneficiaries and VA veterans through a VA/DoD Joint Venture.

New Patient Referral Information:
Who We See: We are delighted to see all eligible patients over the age of 18. Due to our support for worldwide military operations, our new patient openings may be limited. We accept active duty, TRICARE Prime patients, as well as TRICARE for Life and VA patients.
What Clinical Information Is Needed?: All patients must have a referral from their Primary Care Manager or another specialist before evaluation by a neurosurgeon. All patients must have current MRI images within six months, unless contraindication to MRI, then CT scans. If images were not completed at DGMC or a local VA clinic, the patient must hand carry images and reports to appointment.
Patient Instructions for Appointment: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to appointment with a list of current medications.
General Administrative Information: Referrals are reviewed by neurosurgery staff prior to arranging an appointment. For consults that need to be seen within one week, please call the on-call Neurosurgeon.
