The Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Clinic at David Grant USAF Medical Center -- otherwise known as Ear, Nose and Throat, or ENT -- is a diverse surgical specialty that encompasses the treatment of most diseases affecting the head and neck.
The mission of DGMC's ENT clinic is to treat and care for active duty, their dependents, retirees and dependents of retirees. The clinic is composed of compassionate and dedicated professionals including three full-time Otolaryngologists, a staff speech and language pathologist, and seven ENT specialty-trained technicians. We are focused on the comprehensive treatment of ear, nose and throat conditions in adults and children of all ages.
The ENT clinic is able to provide state-of-the-art treatment for most head and neck conditions from ear infections and tonsillitis to sinusitis, speech disorders, facial plastic surgery and head and neck cancer. The clinic and operating rooms have state-of-the-art equipment that is at par if not above any local civilian ENT clinics.
DGMC's ENT clinic shares space with and works closely with the
Audiology clinic to provide evaluation and treatment of a myriad of hearing and balance disorders.
The ENT clinic also hosts DGMC's multidisciplinary thyroid nodule clinic, where endocrinology, otolaryngology and general surgery work together to evaluate and treat a variety of thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
